Steve provides technology guidance to support the forensics lab and network, along with the web applications and web hosting environments. He leads malware analysis activities for forensics cases involving data breach incident responses. Steve’s educational background includes a Masters Degree from George Washington University, a Bachelors Degree from University of Missouri, a Certificate in Computer Programming from Montgomery College, along with the CISSP, GCFA, GPEN, GSLC, CASP, and Security+ industry certifications.
Steve is a member of the FBI InfraGard organization; a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and private sector individuals responsible for securing our nation’s infrastructure. Steve has been interviewed by national media publications and has presented research at security conferences on a variety of topics ranging from botnets in the enterprise to malware on mobile devices.
