Dante received his bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied music production and engineering. In 2006 he relocated to Los Angeles where he worked for leading post-production audio studios including Soundelux, POP Sound, Warner Bros. PPS, and 20th Century Fox. In 2015 Dante founded Transatlantic Audio, Inc. to provide bespoke sound supervision, design, and mixing services to private clients which included Walt Disney Studios, The Jim Henson Company, 2K Games, and independent filmmakers. Following a personal interest in the field of forensic science, Dante earned a Master of Science degree in Recording Arts from the University of Colorado Denver with a concentration in Media Forensics in 2019. Graduating with a 4.0, he was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate Student for his class by the College of Arts & Media, and wrote his thesis on Characterizations of Low-Cut Filters in Handheld Digital Recorders Using Long-Term Average Sorted Spectrum Analysis. In 2021 Dante joined the Forensic Pursuit team as a forensic analyst, earned his AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) accreditation, and is licensed in both Colorado and Texas as a private investigator.
In his spare time Dante enjoys playing ice hockey, cooking, woodworking, playing his guitars, and training his horses. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS), and sits on the Digital Evidence Subcommittee of NIST OSAC. Dante brings to the company his years of expertise working with digital audio, video and images.
